Integrated Mapping, a New Zealand GIS company has a MapInfo FAQ that I found quite interesting.
Around 9 years ago I worked for a company in Leavenworth, Kansas, doing desktop mapping software development. We did our development in MapInfo and MapBasic. We pushed MapBasic pretty hard, and did some really fun stuff there. We also were very active in the MapInfo community and posted often on the MapInfo-L mailing list.
Well, one of my posts lives on! Kind of neat.
