I just received a link to an animated map showing 5000 years of imperial history covering the Middle East.
The animation is a shockwave file, and it’s from the Maps of War site.

My good friend Jerod sent me a link to the new Weather Channel Interactive Radar Map.
The application, currently in Beta, is powered by Microsoft Virtual Earth. As such, it includes the now standard map navigation features: Zoom In/Out, Pan, and an Aerials/Roads toggle.
